Acuren is currently seeking Rope Access Mechanical Technicians of all experience levels to support our operation in Billings, MT.

Position will start in January 2025.

The successful candidates must be local to Billings, MT or surrounding area. While we welcome applications from all qualified individuals, local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role.

Rope Access Mechanical Technicians are responsible for carrying out duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
• Be conversant with relevant work techniques
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
• Demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of levels I, II & III
• Assist other technicians as required
• Ensure operational safety of all equipment

Skills

• IRATA Level 1, 2 & 3 Certification required
• Thorough understanding of applicable rope access applications, theory, equipment, rigging, maneuvers, climbing, hauling, and advanced rescue techniques
• Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician in industrial environments
• Current first aid certification
• Valid drivers' license preferred
• Ability to work effectively within a diverse team
• Ability to work in adverse conditions
• Valid TWIC card
