Job Overview

Acuren is seeking Rope Access Mechanical Technicians of all experience levels to support our operations in Billings, MT. The position is expected to start in January 2025. Candidates must be local to Billings, MT, or the surrounding area. While applications from all qualified individuals are welcome, local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform specific job functions as related to work orders
• Be familiar with relevant work techniques
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
• Demonstrate skills and knowledge required of IRATA Levels I, II & III
• Assist other technicians as needed
• Ensure operational safety of all equipment

Skills & Qualifications

• IRATA Level 1, 2 & 3 Certification required
• Thorough understanding of rope access applications, theory, equipment, rigging, climbing, hauling, and rescue techniques
• Minimum of three years of experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician in industrial environments
• Current first aid certification
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to work effectively in diverse teams and adverse conditions
• Valid TWIC card
