About The Position

Dexis Professional Services seeks to expand its roster of experienced Investment Advisors for an anticipated award. The contractor shall provide subject matter expertise, consulting, and professional services as needed. The contractor will work closely with investment teams based in Washington, D.C., as well as other US Government (USG) staff in a global region to understand and execute sector-specific priorities and investment requirements. Assignments could be ad hoc, varying by situational need and project. Directions on tasks will come from the supervisor for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Market Research and Analysis : Leads, organizes, and develops market intelligence and analysis on potential clients and other business development leads in USGs focus sectors, based on USG eligibility (e.g., energy, infrastructure, agriculture, health, financial services). Identifies sources of information, devises strategies to identify opportunities and challenges, and manages communication networks with stakeholders. Identifies key client groups and markets for USG marketing efforts.
  • Sourcing and Developing Transactions : Conducts analyses of new transaction proposals for feasibility, shares recommendations, works with financial models, supports negotiations, reviews proposals, and coordinates with USG and country stakeholders to push transactions through screening to commitment.
  • Internal and External Stakeholder Engagement : May serve as senior USG point of contact in-country, maintains communication with various stakeholders, collaborates with USG managers, participates in conferences, and supports USG executives.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in relevant fields; CFA optional.
  • 3-5 years of experience in investment roles.
  • Financial modeling and analysis skills.
  • Strong networks in USG focus regions.
  • Expertise in emerging market investments, political risk insurance, and related products.
  • Negotiation skills for complex finance agreements.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects under deadlines.
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with development finance institutions and USG.
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience.
