Job summary

Downtown Evansville Inc. is seeking a registered nurse to triage calls, assess client needs, and offer appropriate clinical options.

You will facilitate referrals to primary care providers, specialists, healthcare facilities, and community resources while teaching callers about immediate care advice and preventive behaviors. This role collaborates with other providers and disciplines to ensure timely, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current compact licensure as a Registered Nurse or IN/KY licensure.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care services.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming calls from clients and assess their needs.
• Provide appropriate clinical options to callers.
