Position Overview

Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic and talented Call Center Specialist PRN Night - 12 hour shifts 7p-7a Fri-Sat-Sun to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Call Center Specialist handles calls from referral sources for psychiatric assessments, gathers demographic information, and dispatches a MAT Assessor. Accurate documentation of calls and related paperwork is essential.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Triage calls and facility referrals to appropriate outpatient services
• Verify insurance coverage
• Enter data into multiple platforms such as SharePoint
• Coordinate and facilitate patient transfers with behavioral health needs
• Dispatch remote assessors and collaborate on next steps in patient care
