What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Field incoming calls from members requiring emergency roadside assistance, including towing, locksmith, fuel, battery, and minor mechanical issues
- Understand the nature of the member's distress and ensure their immediate safety while documenting details accurately
- Maintain a compassionate and composed demeanor during high-intensity calls
- Relay critical information to internal and external teams to expedite the dispatching process
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the Emergency Roadside Service
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Prior customer service experience; call center experience is preferred
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume call environment while providing excellent customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Empathy and a strong desire to assist those in distress
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish
- Advanced computer and multi-tasking skills, including the ability to talk and type simultaneously
- Comprehensive understanding of maps, GPS systems, and traffic safety rules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Outlook
