This role involves receiving incoming calls from prospective and current members requesting road service, processing requests, providing information about AAA products and services, and ensuring high-quality customer service to encourage member retention, renewal, and new memberships.

Responsibilities
  • Handle road service calls, verify membership details, and gather necessary information to provide timely assistance.
  • Utilize department software such as Salesforce, D3, MemberzPlus to dispatch services, prioritize calls, and research membership status.
  • Provide information on policies, explain benefits, and sell memberships and additional services like mobile battery replacement, rentals, and hotel bookings.
  • Determine appropriate actions for each call, consult with supervisors for special cases, and assist with membership verification and applications.
  • Track ETAs, resolve ongoing service issues, and act as a liaison between dispatch and members to improve service quality.
  • Respond to a variety of inquiries, referring members to other departments as needed to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Customer service or call center experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications: For bilingual roles, must pass a translation assessment during pre-hire screening.

Skills: Excellent communication, map reading, navigation, persuasion, confidentiality, and computer skills. Fluency in English and the target language for bilingual roles.
