Job summary

Wachter is hiring a Staff Safe Agent for an onsite role in Mt. Laurel, NJ, handling inbound calls from participating businesses nationwide to ensure staff and patron safety using the StaffSafe system.

You will de-escalate, coordinate with local emergency services when needed, and help resume normal operations quickly. Shifts available include Part-time Sat-Sun/ Tue-Wed nights and Full-time Sun-Thu evenings, with a focus on calm, clear communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
• Pass standard background checks and drug testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving and attention to detail.
• 2+ years of experience in a customer service-related role.
• Ability to work in a team and multi-task under pressure.

Wachter is accepting applications for a Staff Safe Agent to join our growing, fast-paced call center operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year ONSITE at the Mt. Laurel, NJ. In this role, you will support participating businesses Nationwide utilizing the StaffSafe system to ensure the welfare of staff and customers.

WE ARE NEEDING TO HIRE FOR TWO DIFFERENT SHIFTS:

PART-TIME SHIFT:

Sat & Sun 11:30p-7:30a AND Tues & Wed 10:30p-6:30a

FULL-TIME SHIFT:

Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday 4p-2a

As a Staff Safe Agent, you will be fielding Inbound calls from staff at participating businesses Nationwide when they feel their safety and/or that of their patrons is at risk and work to de-escalate the situation at hand. We are committed to providing exceptional care and support to staff members of participating businesses when in need.

As a key member of our Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients in emergency situations and work to resume safe & normal operation of the business as quickly as possible.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
• Be able to pass standard background checks & drug testing
• Possess strong & effective written & verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Well-spoken
• Ability to multi-task while remaining neutral, calm, & focused under pressure
• Possess a High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a Customer Service-related job field/environment
• Ability to effectively work in office effectively in a team environment
• Ability to take overtime, if needed

$16 - $18 an hour
