Job summary

AssistRx, Inc. is seeking a Call Center Registered Nurse to provide and document clinical call center services for patients.

The role will educate patients on the product and the self-injection technique, following manufacturer scripts to meet regulatory requirements. This position serves as a liaison among healthcare providers, patients and patient care advocates, answering clinical questions and guiding injection training.

Qualifications

• RN or BSN with a valid nursing license (compact accepted).
• Two years nursing experience plus at least three years in other clinical settings.
• Computer literacy and good keyboard skills; MS Word knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide education on the product and self-administration technique per manufacturer scripts.
• Receive inbound and make outbound calls to patients.
• Support patients through injection training and set expectations for treatment.
• Educate healthcare providers as designated by the program.
• Document all inbound/outbound calls and activities in the program database.
• Other tasks as necessary.

The purpose of the Call Center Registered Nurse is to provide and document clinical call center services for patients. The role will also provide education and support to patients related to the product and the self-injection technique for the product. The Call Center Registered Nurse will follow all processes and call scripts established by the manufacturer for the program in order to meet all regulatory requirements. Acts as liaison between healthcare providers, patients and patient care advocates to answer clinical questions as designated in the product label.

• Provide education on the product and the self-administration technique according to the call scripts provided by the manufacturer and the guardrails established by the manufacturer
• Receive inbound phone calls and make outbound phone calls to patients
• Support patients through injection training and education by setting proper expectations of treatment
• Provide education and training to healthcare providers if designated by the program
• Document all inbound and outbound calls and other activities within the program database
• Other tasks as necessary

Requirements

Education required:

• Registered Nurse (BSN or RN); valid nursing license (compact accepted)

Education preferred:

• BSN

Years of experience required:

• 2 years nursing experience combined with at least 3 years of other clinical experience

Specific type of experience required:

• Computer literacy and good keyboard skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word Products a plus
