Job summary

The Urology Group is seeking a Call Center Patient Representative to join our Cincinnati office. You will promptly answer phones, schedule patient appointments, verify insurance, and maintain accurate demographic data in our EMR system.

This role offers a hybrid remote option after 6 months with no weekends, evenings or holidays. We provide competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Acquire critical demographic, financial, medical and insurance information from patients in a professional, courteous, caring and compassionate atmosphere.
• Answers telephones in a professional manner.
• Schedules appointments.
• Takes messages for patients using electronic medical records.
• Verifies and updates patient demographic information.
• Registers new patients.
• Addresses patient requests and inquires.
• Resolves patient concerns.
• Returns calls as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones promptly and professionally while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups.
• Enter and update patient demographics and insurance information in EMR.
• Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with financial questions.
• Handle patient messages and communications via EMR messaging system.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Call Center Patient Representative answers phones promptly and professionally, and is responsible for scheduling patient appointments, entering and updating patient demographic information, and verifying insurance information.
