Cornerstone Family Healthcare in Newburgh, NY is seeking Bilingual Call Center Operators for our on-site Newburgh location. The role is Per Diem, with potential Full Time duties, offering $19.00 per hour plus monthly incentives.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, booking appointments, verifying demographics and insurance, and supporting registration. Per diem shifts require weekend coverage and a capped 30-hour week, with training Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

Qualifications

• Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish.
• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.
• For PER DIEM shift – flexible schedule coordinated monthly with management; must work at least two weekend days per month (9am-5pm); cannot exceed 30 hours per week.

• Provides excellent customer service at all times; greets patients, responds accurately, and thanks them for calling.
• Makes appointments for new and existing patients using the practice management system template.
• Coordinates with Patient Services Representatives and nursing staff to accommodate patient requests for earlier appointments.
• Verifies demographic and insurance information and posts it accurately in the system.
• Verifies insurance information, including eligibility, PCP and referrals when required for visit type and insurance.
• Provides back-up support for patient registration as requested by management.
• Attends monthly departmental meetings.
• Handles other duties as assigned.
