The primary role of the Member Contact Center Representative I is to provide exemplary service to Credit Union members via all contact methods, including phone, email, web channels, mail, and fax. Under supervision, the MCC Rep I performs duties related to member service such as processing deposits and withdrawals, reviewing account information and credit/card transactions, processing loan payments, and providing basic online banking support. This position supports all depository and lending products and aims to achieve cross-sell goals established by the Credit Union.

The MCC Rep I is typically on the phone throughout the day, adhering to their schedule to meet and exceed member service standards. The role emphasizes a positive member experience, representing Nuvision Credit Union professionally and respectfully at all times, and building strong internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing efficient and timely service via phone, mail, and fax, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
  2. Consulting with members to identify needs, offer solutions, and follow up on transactions.
  3. Recommending additional products and services based on member conversations.
  4. Opening new member accounts (Savings, Checking, Money Market, Trust, Certificates, IRA) and completing all necessary forms.
  5. Performing account maintenance tasks such as updating information, closing accounts, and handling deceased accounts.
  6. Identifying and reporting suspicious behavior or potential fraud.
  7. Completing required training and compliance modules.
  8. Maintaining confidentiality and respecting all members and coworkers.
  9. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  10. Representing the Credit Union positively and professionally.
  11. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • At least 1 year of retail experience with a proven record of meeting/exceeding service and sales goals.
  • Basic understanding of financial products and services.
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and remote work tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Empathy and a genuine interest in helping members.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Over 2 years of retail experience with proven success in service and sales.

Education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay scale varies by location, with specific minimum, mid, and maximum ranges provided for Florida, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming. The final offer depends on experience, education, and other factors.
