The CERIS Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the department including personnel hiring, quality assurance of product, workflow, and maintaining the tracking of and accountability of staff regarding production standards and department expectations. Works collaboratively with other department managers to achieve departmental requirements and goals.

This is an onsite position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication of information, in written and electronic forms, directed to internal company contacts, clients, and providers.
  • Direct a designated group of employees in their day-to-day operations.
  • Monitor quality control of results per employee as well as the entire unit overall.
  • Ensure metrics are in compliance daily.
  • Track and report department metrics to the Director of Operations monthly or as required.
  • Handle scheduling and monitoring of staff’s attendance.
  • Ensure timely distribution of claims to designated staff to meet client SLA’s.
  • Manage human resources matters directly related to the department supervised, including interviewing, hiring, training, and addressing personnel issues.
  • Ensure evaluations are completed on time.
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance in-house.
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations during work hours in conjunction with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance policies.
  • May be required to travel overnight and attend meetings.
  • May perform daily, weekly, monthly reviews of various reports, invoices, logs, and expenses.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • Good computer and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, mainly Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Able to work independently, as well as with a team.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced/production-based environment.
  • Effective communication with others.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
  • Associate's degree, national certification, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years office experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market-based approach to pay, and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established considering federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.), new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during the interview process, considering experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range, and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
