The Collections Representative position offers a unique experiential opportunity to immerse yourself in the day‑to‑day bustle of a prestigious legal group’s Collections Department. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and ready to handle consumer interactions, such as negotiating repayment plans, answering questions, and arranging payments. We seek candidates with experience or a strong desire to learn about legal and collection processes. We provide a robust training program to prepare call‑center representatives to immediately handle calls and deliver a professional customer experience.
Work Environment
- Inbound calls and some outbound calls
- No skip‑tracing
- Monthly bonus opportunities
- Works generally at a desk in a well‑lighted, air‑conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels
- Monday to Friday, shift options:
- 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (1‑hour lunch)
- 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (1‑hour lunch)
- 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (1‑hour lunch)
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Efficiently assist customers through both inbound (90%) and outbound (10%) calls while educating them on their options for account resolution
- Develop a trusted relationship with customers, third parties, attorneys, representatives, realtors, etc. to ensure timely handling of all accounts through the collections process
- Maintain detailed document records of all customer communications including payment plans that customers have agreed to and amounts paid via telephone
- Ensure the prompt and successful delivery of solutions according to customer and client needs
- Clearly communicate the progress of accounts and their respective status within the collections pipeline
- Demonstrate exceptional listening skills, while displaying professionalism and empathy for our customers’ individual needs and circumstances

Education
- High School Diploma required
