In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and caregivers, providing assistance and ensuring they receive the support they need. What You'll Do: Handle and triage high-volume inbound calls with professionalism and efficiency. Assist patients and caregivers with inquiries and provide general support to callers. Forward patient requests to the appropriate clinical staff promptly. Accurately enter patient information into the electronic health records (EHR) system. Identify and escalate complex issues to the Call Center Team Lead or Manager as needed. Stay up to date with provider schedules, clinic updates, and office protocols. Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned. What We're Looking For: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: 1 - 2 years in a medical office administration role is highly preferred. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while managing time effectively. Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance practices, and medical billing procedures is a plus. Experience with medical scheduling or billing systems is preferred. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with electronic records systems and strong data entry skills (minimum typing speed of 45 wpm).
