Ideal candidates have California WC experience, ability to handle litigated claims, and knowledge of jurisdictional requirements. Roseville and Long Beach locations are supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Four (4) years of California workers' compensation claims management experience or equivalent.
• California jurisdictional knowledge required; SIP required or must be obtained within one year of hire date.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and adjudicate complex workers' compensation claims through investigation and information gathering to determine exposure and resolution.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Calculate and assign reserves; manage reserves throughout the life of the claim.
• Process benefits and payments; approve timely claims and adjustments; settle claims within authority.
• Prepare state filings within statutory limits.
• Manage litigation process; ensure timely, cost-effective resolution.
• Report claims to excess carriers and respond to directions promptly.
