Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Emergency Room RN for an urgent travel assignment in Merced, California. The role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, with ongoing support from an established Joint Commission-certified agency.

Qualifications

1+ year of recent ER experience in the specified setting.
Current nursing license as required by California.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
ACLS certification (recommended and may be required).
Specialty certifications are preferred and may be required.
Professional references provided by recruiter.

Responsibilities

Assess patient injuries or conditions on arrival and communicate assessments to physicians.
Assist in treatment plans, administer IVs, medications, and injections, and perform EKGs and triage.
Educate patients and families about discharge instructions and home care; follow hospital policies on transfer and discharge.
