Qualifications

• Currently licensed as LVN in California.
• One-year prior nursing management experience is preferred but not required.
• Long term care experience.
• PointClickCare charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in and assists with Quality Improvement Program.
• Uses Quality Life Manual for patient placement and monitoring.
• Notifies other departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admissions, discharges).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely according to facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely according to facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders when allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
