Qualifications

• Licensed LVN in California required.
• At least 1 year in nursing management preferred.
• Experience in long-term care settings is required or preferred.
• Proficient in PointClickCare charting.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates knowledge and use of Infection Control Manual.
• Assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Uses Quality Life Manual to identify and monitor patient programs.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room, LOA, admits, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely according to facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely per facility policy.
• Transcribes and carries out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
