Job summary

Meridian Counseling in California is seeking licensed mental health therapists to join our growing group practice. Clinicians set their own hours and caseload, with private pay and insurance referrals provided. Sessions can be in-person or from home, with admin support and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology/counseling is required.
• Must be licensed as LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Clinical Psychologist, or equivalent.
• Credentialing to work with insurance panels must be obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing mental health therapy to clients.
• Maintain accurate, timely session notes and treatment plans.
• Set your own hours and caseload in alignment with practice needs.
• Participate in monthly clinical consultations with the team.
• Offer either in-person or remote/telehealth sessions to clients.

• We will handle your billing, credentialing, and marketing and provide you with clients and office space. Your job is to show up, see your clients, and take notes!

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or similar.
• Must be licensed as LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Clinical Psychologist, or similar.
• Must be able to obtain credentialing to work with insurance panels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with trauma, mood disorders, addiction, families, and couples
• Comfortable with electronic medical records.
• CBT, DBT, ACT or EMDR Training preferred

Compensation

• Compensation ranges from $65 to $120 per hour based on licensure.
• All providers are compensated for their admin time.
