Orionplacement seeks an experienced attorney to manage California family law matters from initial strategy through resolution in Walnut Creek. You will work on divorce, custody, support, property division, and related domestic issues.

Active California Bar membership with 3+ years of legal practice and at least 1 year in California family law is required. Strong writing, research, negotiation and client communication skills are essential in a collaborative, high-asset matters environment.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar membership.
• 3+ years of attorney experience.
• 1+ year of California family law experience.
• Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and client communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines, competing priorities, and complex case details.
• Experience with contested divorce, custody, support, or complex financial matters is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage California family law matters from initial strategy through resolution.
• Handle divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, property division, and related domestic matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement documents, and other legal filings.
• Prepare for and participate in court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and litigation.
• Counsel clients with clarity, professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.
• Develop case strategies and collaborate with attorneys, support staff, and outside financial or other professionals when matters require specialized expertise.
