Job summary

Sweetwater Care in California is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to deliver skilled OT services under supervision in a skilled nursing facility. You will assess daily living skills, support rehab plans, educate patients and families, and document progress.

Qualifications

• Valid OTA license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering personalized occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and work activities.
• Support treatment plans for patients with physical, developmental, or emotional disabilities.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to enhance daily function.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
