Position Details

As a Campus Retail Associate, you will provide excellent customer service and support store operations to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments
• Greet customers and ensure positive experiences
• Support store operations, operate equipment, and ensure speed and accuracy of transactions
• Maintain store appearance through shelving, cleaning, and organizing
• Work during peak periods, including semester starts and ends, weekends, and periodically during the school year
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as dusting, mopping, and trash removal

Physical Demands

• Frequent movement within the store
• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods
• Frequent lifting
• Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and ladder climbing

Pay and Benefits

Pay rate: $16.75/hr. (California seasonal bookseller rate). Benefits include daily wage access, employee discounts, paid sick time, 401k eligibility after 1000 hours, and commuter benefits.
