Job summary

The WIKA Group is seeking a dedicated technician to perform calibration and adjustments on gauges and process instruments in a manufacturing setting. You will install, repair, and maintain instrumentation to ensure accurate measurements and products meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include changeovers, SOP adherence, weekly logs, and collaboration with operators across shifts. This role requires physical stamina, manual dexterity, and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Stand for long periods, up to eight hours.
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends.
• Vision with or without correction sufficient for detailed work.

Responsibilities

• Performs calibration and adjustments on gauges.
• Installs, repairs, maintains and adjusts process instruments measuring variables like pressure.
• Adjusts settings to ensure product meets specified accuracy.
• Performs changeovers and assists in troubleshooting calibration equipment; rejects non-calibratable product.
• Follows SOPs and special instructions (SIs).
• Completes daily production logs.
• Performs preventive maintenance on calibration equipment.
• Communicates with operators from other shifts.
• Cleans and maintains work area (5S).
• Assists mechanics and machinists in repair work.
• Performs ancillary duties as needed
