Job Overview

The Calibration Technician will be responsible for scheduled and unscheduled calibration activities for process equipment and instrumentation used in the medical device manufacturing industry.

Main Responsibilities

1. Perform scheduled and unscheduled calibrations according to applicable procedures and work instructions.
2. Document calibration results in the calibration management system (CMMS).
3. Coordinate with all impacted departments to plan and schedule workload, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
4. Inspect equipment and instrumentation to verify proper functionality.
5. Schedule and coordinate vendor-performed calibrations with external providers.
6. Collaborate with end-users to acquire or replace instruments as needed.
7. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

1. High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
2. 2-3 years of calibration experience in a regulated production environment.
3. Ability to follow SOPs and work instructions.
4. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
5. Highly organized, detail-oriented, with good time management skills.
6. Experience with CMMS programs.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
8. Proficiency in MS Office tools.
9. Proven ability to work independently.
10. Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50 lbs, and work in loud, active areas.
