Job summary

Daikin Comfort in Waller, TX is seeking a Calibration Technician 2 to support the Engineering Lab by calibrating testing instrumentation on schedule and ensuring readings are accurate.

You will perform calibrations, maintain instruments, and keep precise records, while following ISO 17025 procedures, safety rules, and working with external vendors as needed. The role requires 5–8 years in ISO 17025 labs and an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Calibrate testing instrumentation according to procedures and schedules.
• Maintain calibration records with high accuracy and detail.
• Follow ISO 17025 requirements and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and maintain work area organization.

Responsibilities

• Complete calibrations and qualifications in a safe, timely and accurate manner.
• Handle, store and maintain test instrumentation and calibration standards.
• Identify project supply needs and communicate to supervisor.
• Maintain a neat calibration work area and professional image.
• Follow safety protocols in all on-site and office environments.
• Assist with lab preventative maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors as required.
• Identify, assess, and manage calibration issues.
• Perform other lab-related duties as assigned.
