About the Role

We are seeking a Calibration Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. The role involves supporting the plant through mechanical, electrical, and calibration tasks, with a focus on instrumentation and facility maintenance.

Training & Schedule

• Training: Monday‑Friday 8:00am‑4:30pm, 3–6months (based on experience)
• Regular shift: Sunday‑Thursday 10:00pm‑8:30am
• Premium shifts receive incentive pay, including shift differential and/or weekend pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Calibrate temperature, pressure, level, flow, and analytical instruments.
• Perform loop checks, tuning, troubleshooting, and start‑up of instrumentation.
• Work with medium and low voltages.
• Conduct basic plumbing and tube bending jobs.
• Assist in Facilities Management‑Maintenance (FM‑M) processes and support Clean Utility technicians in troubleshooting facility and process issues.
• Execute daily Work Orders (WO) and Preventative Maintenance (PM) and coordinate workflow and documentation.
• Communicate and coordinate with departments and FM‑M during planned and unplanned work events.
• Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
• Occasionally perform other facility‑related tasks outside the calibration department’s routine duties.
• Plan and schedule outside contractors/vendors for scheduled and/or non‑scheduled PM or general work.
• Ensure safe, efficient maintenance of plant manufacturing equipment and related support equipment, adhering to SOPs, cGMPs, and quality standards.
• Participate in compliance investigations when required.
• Use full gowning when entering and working on the production floor.
• Participate in the rotation on‑call schedule.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to work a Sunday‑Thursday 10:00pm‑8:30am schedule.
• Ideally, an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, preferably in Engineering or Construction Technologies.
• Experience requirements by level:
  
  • Calibration TechnicianII: 2+years related experience or HSD/GED with 5+years experience.
  • Calibration TechnicianIII: 5+years related experience or HSD/GED with 8+years experience.
  • Calibration TechnicianIV: 8+years related experience or HSD/GED with 8+years experience.
• Prior experience in maintenance and operation of large‑scale utilities plants is preferred.
• ISA CCST Certification is strongly preferred but not required.
