POSITION TYPE: Non-exempt

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

The Calibration Technician is responsible for performing the calibration work for JAE’s and/or third party’s directional module package and/or similar products for the oil & gas industry for the Houston Repair Center. The individual will also record data gathered during calibration and enter the data into the system.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

General calibration work which consists of:

• Visual inspection
• Identifying the product’s defective performance with calibration stand and system
• Performing and adjusting calibration using the calibration equipment (jigs and data gathering software)
• Monitor the Calibration Stand ovens for issues and take appropriate action to complete the calibration

Data entry of defect information, repair work and calibration data
