Job Description:

Job Title: Manufacturing Calibration Test Technician

Location: San Jose, CA 95134

Duration: 12+ Months (Extendable)

Pay Rate: $25-$27/hr on W2

Description:

• Follow established procedures to calibrate, test, and prepare instruments for shipping

• Provide the first line of troubleshooting for diagnosing problems

• Contribute to group problem solving and process improvement activities

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in a technical or manufacturing position

• Associates degree in a technical field or comparable long-standing work experience

• Effective and analytical problem-solving skills, including basic understanding of statistical methods, techniques, formulas, and tests It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Prior work experience with calibration, automation, centrifuges, plate readers, etc.

• Familiarity with chemistry and liquid handling equipment (Beckman, Agilent, Hamilton)
