Job summary

Qualifications

  • 3 years calibration systems experience (ISO 10012/ANSI Z540)
  • 3 years proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • 3 years reading blueprints and aerospace specifications
  • Preferred experience with manufacturing preventative maintenance systems
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend documents

  • Bag and/or package devices to prevent damage during shipping and handling
  • Complete receipt of purchase orders
  • Verify/calibrate devices for fitness of purpose
  • Follow calibration methods
  • Ensure standard traceability
  • Verify or resetting tamper seals or safeguards.
  • Create and/or modify device information within calibration software
  • Ensure customer-supplied equipment/devices are controlled and maintained.
  • Process job order traveler per procedures and policies
  • Assist with elementary inspections in the Quality Department
  • Report metrics and current affairs of Calibration activities to upper-level management
  • Assist auditors in retrieving quality records
  • Work with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Customer Service, Engineering, and Planning

Position Summary

The Calibration Technician is responsible for recalling, verifying, calibrating, tracking, and maintaining instrumentation and measuring equipment to ensure compliance with established calibration standards and quality requirements. This role works independently within established procedures while within established procedures associated with the specific job function .

Qualifications

Training and Experience:

  • 3 years calibration systems experience (ISO 10012/ANSI Z540)
  • 3 years proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • 3 years reading blueprints and aerospace specifications
  • Preferred experience with manufacturing preventative maintenance systems
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend documents
