Job summary

Apple Inc. in Austin, TX seeks a System Test Design Lead to champion product calibration and test strategy for high-volume manufacturing.

You will partner with design, software and operations to enable characterization and efficient test solutions that balance quality with cost. The role demands leadership, deep hardware/software understanding, and experience integrating acoustics, sensing, imaging, displays, interconnects and test protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; EE/CE Master's preferred.
• Strong understanding of hardware/software architecture and interoperability of complex systems.
• Experience with integration of acoustics, sensing, transducers, imaging, displays, and interconnect protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB).

Responsibilities

• Lead convergence & maturity of the product calibration & test line through all system builds phases; identify potential risks and develop product protection solutions / risk assessments where needed.
