Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Calibration Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and improve automated calibration software for performance oscilloscopes. In this role, you will work closely with hardware engineers, ASIC designers, and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate, efficient, and reliable calibration processes across multiple oscilloscope platforms.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Calibration Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and improve automated calibration software for performance oscilloscopes. In this role, you will work closely with hardware engineers, ASIC designers, and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate, efficient, and reliable calibration processes across multiple oscilloscope platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain software routines for oscilloscope calibration and test automation.
  • Analyze measurement data to validate calibration accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, ASIC, manufacturing) to define calibration requirements and integrate software solutions.
  • Support root cause analysis of calibration-related issues and implement robust corrective actions.
  • Develop scripts and tools to optimize calibration time, improve repeatability, and enhance diagnostic capabilities.
  • Ensure calibration software is aligned with industry and company standards for quality and traceability.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development practices, including sprint planning, code reviews, and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB.
  • Strong aptitude for Mathematics and Digital Signal Processing
  • Experience in developing SW in both Windows and Linux environments
  • Experience in the development and troubleshooting of SW interfacing to HW/FW
  • Strong understanding of measurement systems, signal integrity, and test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.).
  • Experience with automated test frameworks and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming and software design best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are especially necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a strong programming background.
  • Expert in DPS and Mathematics.
  • Strong aptitude for microelectronics.
  • Familiarity with oscilloscope architecture and calibration challenges
  • Desire to learn from experts and grow in the role.

Bonus or Equity

Pay Range

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 100,700.00 - 186,900.00
