Job summary

Sea-Bird Scientific in Bellevue, Washington is seeking a Calibration Lead to oversee calibration operations, mentor technicians, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing.

Candidates should have an associate degree in a technical field and at least 4 years in calibration or instrumentation, with ISO quality systems and measurement uncertainty experience. This is a full-time, onsite day shift role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 4 years experience in calibration, instrumentation, manufacturing, or related technical environments.
• Experience with ISO quality management and regulated manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of measurement uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Lead calibration operations and mentor technicians.
• Perform advanced calibrations and analyze results.
• Coordinate daily workflow and support onboarding.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and R&D.

Education

Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education/experience

Minimum of 4 years experience in calibration, instrumentation, manufacturing, or related technical environments

Tools

Calibration equipment (deadweight testers, pressure vessels, calibration baths, ovens, chillers)

Proprietary software for documentation
