Advanced Test Equipment Corporation (ATEC) is seeking a detail-driven and experienced Calibration Lab Manager to lead our accredited calibration laboratory in San Diego. In this leadership role, you'll oversee operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure our lab maintains the highest standards of quality and compliance. What You’ll Do:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of ATEC’s ISO/IEC 17025-accredited calibration lab
• Manage, train, and mentor a team of skilled calibration technicians
• Ensure compliance with all accreditation requirements and internal quality systems
• Review and approve calibration procedures, certificates, and lab documentation
• Work cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Service, Rentals, and Sales teams
• Monitor lab performance metrics and implement process improvements
• Evaluate and maintain lab standards, tools, and test equipment
• Support internal and external audits, corrective actions, and CAPAs
• 6+ years of experience in calibration/metrology with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
• Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and calibration best practices
• Skilled in managing teams and building high-performance lab environments
• Technically proficient in electrical, RF, physical/dimensional, or environmental calibration disciplines
• Detail-oriented, organized, and driven to uphold quality and compliance
• Proficient with calibration software/systems (e.g., MET/TEAM or similar)
• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, engineering, or related field preferred
