Job summary

RGNext is seeking a Lab Manager to lead a Government Owned Contractor Operated Calibration lab on Kwajalein Atoll. You will oversee TMDE calibration, scheduling, budget, and staff development, working with USATA and external labs. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years of leadership, and the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in leadership/management.
• ≥5 years leadership/management experience.
• Knowledge of US Army TMDE calibration requirements and similar labs.
• Familiarity with AR750-1, AR750-43, TB750-25, TB43-180.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (manual, electric, motorized).
• Self‑discipline, initiative, and ability to mentor staff.
• Strong project planning, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain USAG‑KA driver’s license and maintain security clearance.
• Physically able to perform tasks and relocate as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage a Government Owned Contractor Operated Calibration lab.
• Oversee calibration, verification, and repair of TMDE on and off‑island.
• Manage department budget and purchases; develop team career paths.
• Coordinate with USATA and external labs to schedule calibrations.
• Prepare reports, quotes, RMAs, and documentation; TIMMS data handling.
• Lead safety, risk assessment, and compliance with regulations.
