Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a Tooling Verifier/Technician to complete verifications, testing, repairs, and maintenance on tools. This role will also train crews on safely using torque and tension tooling.

You will manage tool inventories, complete logs, review tower specs, and ensure adherence to torque procedures. A high school diploma and 3+ years in construction are required, with proficiency in reading blueprints and office software expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience in construction or similar field.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, E-mail).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet timelines.

Responsibilities

• Test calibrated tooling daily for accuracy.
• Test bolts for flange-specific torque per procedure.
• Maintain tooling logs and turbine-related documentation.
• Manage onsite inventory of tools and assign tooling per crew.
• Schedule calibrations and track certifications for site tooling.
• Provide on-site training on test equipment and torque/tension tooling.
