Advantage Technical is seeking a Calibration Engineer in Ann Arbor, MI to develop and calibrate engine control systems for global markets. You will test, analyze data, validate calibration values, and support emissions, drivability, and performance targets.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 1+ years in engine calibration, with strong skills in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, and Python or VBA.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 1+ years of engine calibration experience is preferred.
• Experience with emissions, drivability, OBD, or powertrain calibration is expected.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++; Python/VBA beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and calibrate engine control systems for domestic and international markets.
• Conduct testing, data collection, analysis, and technical reporting.
• Validate calibration values and software logic functionality.
• Support emissions, fuel economy, performance, and drivability targets.
• Coordinate calibration activities to meet project timelines.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineering teams during development programs.
• Participate in vehicle testing under various environmental conditions, including hot, cold, and high-altitude climates.
• Complete required technical and driving-related training.
