Today the Company employs nearly 2,100 team members in over 95 locations across the United States.Our purpose is to create a safe and reliable world and our mission is to deliver assurance through precise technical and professional services.**Who We Are****Accu-Chek, LLC,** an ATS company, has been serving the calibration and inspection needs of the quality industry and provides a wide range of calibration, inspection and repair services in many industries including automotive, aerospace, medical, computer, fluid power, appliance, and many others.**The Role****We are seeking a Calibration Repair Technician will be *based out of the lab location in Corydon, IN*** and will be responsible for providing Repair and calibration services in the lab or in the field at the customers’ location. **This is a full-time role and includes a competitive pay and benefits package including a competitive base pay, quarterly bonus, medical, dental, vision, 401K + company match, short/long term disability, PTO/vacation, paid life insurance and more! .** **Job Description**The candidate will work both independently and with other technicians on the team. **The successful candidate should have at least two (2) years of hands-on mechanical, electrical and/or physical/dimensional calibration experience or related experience.** Additionally, the Calibration Repair Technician will be a self-starter, possess good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) as well as have computer competency. Candidates must be willing to travel to local and regional customer sites to Repair/calibrate a variety of inspection, measuring and testing equipment.**Responsibilities*** Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and calibrate a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, and electronic instruments and equipment.* Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble precision instruments in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company procedures.* Identify appropriate measurement methods and utilize precision test equipment to verify performance and compliance.* Maintain calibration standards, tools, and laboratory equipment in accordance with quality system requirements.* Perform soldering, component replacement, and minor electronic repairs on instruments and assemblies.* Use precision measurement equipment including micrometers, calipers, multimeters, torque analyzers, pressure gauges, and temperature measurement devices.* Calibrate and repair torque drivers, torque wrenches, hardness testers, optical comparators, surface plates, tensile testers, and force measurement equipment.* Document repair activities, calibration results, and service records accurately and completely.* Work collaboratively with technicians and other team members to meet customer turnaround and quality requirements.* Perform service and calibration work both in the laboratory and at customer locations as required.* Adhere to all company safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.* Travel locally and regionally to support customer service needs, including occasional overnight travel.* Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.* Perform other duties as assigned.* Travel requirement: local and regional travel with approximately 20% overnight travel## Qualifications**Qualifications / Skills*** Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.* Experience repairing and calibrating precision instruments and test equipment.* Proficiency with hand tools, soldering equipment, and electronic test instruments.* Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and calibration procedures.* Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle small, delicate components.* Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.**Requirements****Education And Experience*** 2 - 5+ years' experience in mechanical measuring, inspection, and testing equipment calibration preferred. **Candidates with experience using mechanical measuring, inspection, and testing equipment will also be considered.*** High School graduate / or equivalent required; Associates degree from college or technical school preferred.; or at least two (2) years related experience / training or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Commercial or Military experience acceptable* Familiarity with basic hand tools* Proficiency with Microsoft Office computer software including Word, Excel, and Outlook* Organizational and time management skills* Ability to work 40 plus hours per week to meet customer demands including overtime work when needed* Candidate shall be able to lift 60 pounds* Candidate shall have a clean driving record, background check, and drug screen**EOE/AA/M/F/Vet/Disability**ATS is an equal opportunity employer where employment is based upon personal capabilities and qualifications without discrimination due to race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as established by law.**U.S. Persons” Only:** A requirement of this position is access to information that is subject to U.S. export controls under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”).
