Position: Delivery Driver/Order Puller
Reports to: Store manager
Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and efficient delivery driver/order puller to join our team at Woodson Lumber. This role involves preparing, loading, and delivering a variety of lumber and building materials to customer locations while also balancing responsibilities in the retail yard. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

1.Order Pulling: Accurately pull and prepare orders for delivery, ensuring that all items match the customer's request and are in good condition.
2.Loading: Safely load materials onto delivery trucks, ensuring they are securely fastened and organized for efficient unloading.
3.Delivery: Drive to customer locations to deliver orders, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
4.Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
5.Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on delivery vehicles and report any issues to management.
6.Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts and maintain a clean and safe work area in the lumberyard.
7.Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to improve efficiency and customer service.
8.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
