Job Summary

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Ensures adherence to all production and display guidelines regarding bakery products to promote optimal sales opportunities. Operates within sanitation guidelines and procedures set by the company and state.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Consistently provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service.
  2. Greet customers with a smile, make eye contact, and thank them for their patronage.
  3. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
  4. Ensure customer satisfaction through product availability, quality, service, and sanitation.
  5. Maintain an adequate display of cakes to meet customer needs, in coordination with the Bakery Manager.
  6. Manage inventory levels of Deco Pac supplies, with annual physical counts and adjustments as directed by the corporate office.
  7. Maintain standards for product variety (e.g., seasonal buttercreams and colors) daily.
  8. Assist in managing production and shrinkage in collaboration with the Bakery Manager, following company guidelines.
  9. Operate bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, and utensils safely and efficiently.
  10. May act as the lead baker in the absence of the Bakery Manager and First Clerk.
  11. Maintain high levels of customer courtesy and service at all times.
  12. Handle all special customer orders, such as custom cakes.
  13. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and sanitation regulations.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
