Pay Range: $15.75- $19.95

Summary

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Ensures compliance with all production/display guidelines for bakery products to promote sales. Operates within sanitation guidelines set by the company and state.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Consistently deliver fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service.
  2. Greet customers with a smile, make eye contact, and thank them for their patronage.
  3. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
  4. Ensure customer satisfaction through product availability, quality, service, and sanitation.
  5. Maintain proper bakery presentation with a variety of cakes to meet customer needs.
  6. Assist in maintaining 'Deco Pac' inventories with the Bakery Manager, based on annual physical counts.
  7. Maintain standards for cake varieties and seasonal colors daily.
  8. Work with the bakery manager to manage production and shrinkage according to company guidelines.
  9. Operate bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, and utensils.
  10. May serve as the bakery lead in the absence of the manager and first clerk.
  11. Ensure high levels of customer courtesy and service at all times.
  12. Handle all customer special orders, such as custom cakes.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  14. Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations at the corporate and state levels.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by management, maintaining adherence to company policies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • 6-12 months of related experience.
  • Basic literacy and computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Performance reviews meet standards.
