Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Cake Decorator to create decorated cakes and desserts, prepare icings, and complete custom orders per established recipes. You will maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure display cases stay stocked and visually consistent to meet customer requests.

You will process orders, review details, and decorate to match specifications in a fast-paced environment that values accuracy and quality across the bakery department.

Qualifications

• Cake decorating skills with icing, piping and finishing techniques
• Clear communication when taking orders and gathering details
• Attention to detail ensuring design execution, labeling and presentation match order specs
• Strong organization and time-management to handle multiple orders
• Understanding of display case merchandising and stock presentation
• Ability to read and interpret order forms and production instructions
• Adaptability to changing priorities and varying order volume
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and product handling requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45lbs occasionally

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and verify order details
• Decorate cakes and desserts according to established recipes and designs
• Prepare icings and decorative elements and finish orders
• Maintain clean, organized work area and visually consistent displays
