Job summary

Food City in Johnson City, MO is seeking a friendly Food Service Associate to deliver courteous customer service in line with our mission to Run the Best Store in Town.

You will prepare and decorate cakes, cupcakes, and cookies, maintain displays, take phone orders, rotate and date products, and assist across multiple areas. On-site shifts require reliability and teamwork; Food City offers a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and perform routine tasks.
• On-site work attendance required to follow schedules and policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service to support our mission.
• Prepare and produce quality food and products meeting expectations.
• Decorate specialty cakes and use photo cake computer.
• Decorate cupcakes and cookies; maintain cases.
• Take telephone orders for food and specialty cakes.
• Maintain display areas and ensure neat work area.
• Cross-train across multiple areas with varying responsibilities.
