Job summary

Target in-store is seeking a Cake Decorator to provide friendly guest service while creating and decorating cakes for sale. You will engage guests, fulfill custom orders, and maintain product quality and display standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to food safety practices. Flexible scheduling and participation in training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture in food.
• Artistic skills to design and execute customized desserts.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate scanners and other tech.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience with friendly service and warm interactions.
• Assist guests in finding items and resolving issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• Wrap up each guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team and adapt to business needs to deliver great guest experiences.
• Prepare, ice and decorate cakes/cupcakes to production specs for sales floor.
