Shaw’s and Star Market in Raynham, MA seeks a Cake Decorator to create decorated cakes and desserts, prepare icings, apply designs, and complete custom orders per established recipes and decoration standards.

You will maintain a clean, organized workspace, stock display cases, and process orders with accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment that rewards attention to detail and consistency across the department.

Qualifications

• Clear communication when taking orders and gathering details for custom requests
• Experience with icing, piping, and finishing techniques for cakes and pastries
• Familiarity with preparing icing, whipped toppings, and decorative elements
• Consistency in design execution, labeling, and presentation aligned with order specifications
• Effective management of multiple orders while maintaining workflow and meeting timelines
• Understanding of how to maintain visually consistent and well‑stocked display cases
• Ability to read and interpret order forms, tags, and production instructions
• Comfort working with changing priorities and varying order volume
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and product handling requirements
• Comfort with standing for extended periods, continuous hand use, and lifting up to 45lbs occasionally

Responsibilities
