Summary:

Emphasis in this position is on ensuring the proper quantity and quality of product is available for the customer. Primary learning challenge is developing proficiency in decorating and paying attention to detail and neatness while maintaining production level requirements. This position provides quality, decorative designs for customer special orders and a variety of bakery products.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Orders proper quantity of cakes to be sold
2. Follows and completes daily and weekly quantities of cakes to be decorated and sold as determined by Bakery Manager.
3. Ices Cakes
4. Ensures proper consistency for both butter cream and better cream icing.
5. Prepares cakes to be decorated.
6. Decorates Cakes
7. Follows approved decorating styles and creates new decorations as appropriate.
8. Follows and completes production assignments
9. Ensures consistent quality for accuracy in decorating.
10. Decorates for special orders.
11. Ensures a variety of product is prepared for maximum sales potential
12. Places cakes in proper containers
13. Stocks cases
14. Stores over stock in freezer
15. Stocks cake case and removes stales daily
16. Maintains a clean and organized decorating area
17. Ensures adequate decorating supplies are maintained
18. Assists Customers
19. Takes special orders and requests
20. Provides product information and location
21. Assists Bakery Wrapper/Stockers
