Job summary

Safeway is seeking a Cake Decorator to create decorated cakes and desserts that are appealing and delicious. You will finish icing, piping, and designs, and complete custom orders following established recipes and decoration standards.

Maintain a clean, organized work area, ensure display cases are stocked and visually consistent, and coordinate with the team to meet order specifications in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous cake decorating experience required.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create decorated cakes and desserts following recipes and decoration standards.
• Finish icing, piping, and design elements; complete custom orders.
• Process customer orders, review order details, and decorate to match specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure display cases are stocked and visually consistent.
