Job summary

Dairy Queen franchise in the United States is seeking a skilled cake decorator to assemble and decorate soft serve cakes and Blizzard cakes, following Dairy Queen standards. You will prepare and decorate according to customer specifications, operate cake and soft serve equipment safely, and maintain inventory for peak cake occasions.

Qualifications

• Exceptional decorating skills including gel, icing, air brush, decorating kits, edible images, floral designs, and licensed character designs.
• Cake decorator’s certification is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to work in and out of different temperature ranges.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and maintain hygiene standards.
• Excellent customer service, manners, hygiene, attitude, and promptness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and decorate cake products according to customer specifications and standards.
• Operate cake and soft serve equipment safely and hygienically.
• Maintain inventory of decorated cakes for holidays and peak occasions.
• Keep display freezer stocked with diverse cake items.
• Take and fill customer cake orders professionally and promptly.
• Work as a team to ensure quality, service, cleanliness, and value.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
