Job summary

Meijer is seeking a team member to prepare and decorate cakes for various occasions. You will also keep the cake case stocked and fresh throughout shifts, manage dates, orders, and inventory, and help with deli/bakery areas as needed. A creative, detail-oriented, customer-focused individual will thrive in this role.

You will contribute to a welcoming store environment through friendly interactions and clean, organized work habits, ensuring quality and presentation across bakery products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and decorate cakes for multiple occasions.
• Fill and condition the cake case throughout the shift.
• Manage cake out-dates daily and process cake orders.
• Oversee cake and icing inventory and stock displays.
• Maintain sanitation at the decorating station and follow procedures.
• Provide friendly service and build good relationships with customers and teammates.
• Potential duties in deli and bakery areas as needed.
