Carlie C's IGA in Durham, NC is seeking a Cake Decorator to craft visually appealing cakes and deliver prompt customer service. You will work in a fast-paced deli/bakery setting and help maintain quality and presentation across all bakery products.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in weight and portion control, and adherence to uniform standards while supporting daily operations of the bakery and deli under the Deli/Bakery Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age, friendly and outgoing.
• Must enjoy working with the public.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, 30lbs.
• Experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Bake and Decorate Cakes.
• Use scales and printer, understand tare weight.
• Use and sharpen meat/cheese slicer.
• Use chicken fryer, monitor grease.
• Make meals for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
• Understand portion control
• Monitor food temperature requirements.
• Operate oven, proof box.
• Keep sales area full, and rotated.
• Clean and sanitized area.
• Work in refrigerated areas.
• Maintain Carlie C's Uniform Standards
• Any and all other daily operational duties as directed by Deli/Bakery Manager.
